Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all paid plans and credit packs purchased on newtales.pro. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Plus subscription
The Plus subscription is billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time from your account page. After cancellation you retain full Plus access until the end of the current paid period, and we do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused days.
- If Plus was charged by mistake (e.g. you were charged after a successful cancellation), contact us within 14 days and we will issue a full refund.
- If the Service is unavailable for an extended period caused by us, we may credit your account or extend your billing period.
2. Credit packs
Credit packs are one-time purchases. Because credits can be consumed immediately to generate stories:
- Unused credits are refundable within 14 days of purchase, provided no credit from the pack has been used.
- Partially or fully used credit packs are non-refundable.
- Unused credits do not expire as long as your account is active.
3. EU 14-day right of withdrawal (digital content)
Under Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m), EU residents have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital content purchases that is waived only if two conditions are both met: you expressly consent to immediate supply and you acknowledge that this consent waives the withdrawal right. We collect these confirmations during checkout (via Stripe) and before you consume credits or use a paid subscription period.
If you have not yet consented to immediate supply, have not used any credits from a purchase, and the current Plus period has just begun without any use, your 14-day right of withdrawal still applies — contact us.
4. How to request a refund
Send an email to support@newtales.pro with:
- The email address associated with your account.
- The date of the purchase and, if known, the Stripe receipt ID.
- A short reason for the request.
We review refund requests within 7 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically land within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
5. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. Disputing a charge with your bank without reaching out may result in the temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
